Next 7 days

Last 7 days

Weather

All regions can continue to expect to be in the Low Growth Potential zone for the next 7 days.

As we head into cooler winter conditions and lower GP% we need to protect our turf as much as we can. Take a look at our Frost course to understand how damaging frost can be to turf health.

Base Nitrogen

Next 7 days

Last 7 days

Weather

Minimal amounts of required nitrogen is expected over the next 7 days. 1kg/N/ha Base nitrogen requirement (numbers inside the circles) can be expected across regions in the UK.

It's always important to match the turf requirements for nitrogen, as applying too little or too much can both have detrimental effects on turf health & performance and also increase disease occurrence, especially during this time of year.

Depending on your grass species and soil type, base nitrogen requirements may be more or less than the weather estimated figures.

Application Advice

Using PrecisionPro will help you calibrate your spreader and fertiliser correctly and also ensure correct walking speed is achieved. When applying any type of granular product it's important to keep a consistent spread width, therefore reducing missed or overlapped areas for a perfectly treated surface.

Rainfall

Last 7 days

Weather

Expect less rainfall across the UK compared to the last 7 days.

Dew dispersant’s can be applied as part of a program to help manage dew and reduce the moisture sitting on your surface. This will help reduce the onset of disease and allow a better quality of cut if mowing. Dew dispersant’s can also reduce labour compared to manually remove dew with a brush of dew whip.

Turf Stress

Weather

Expect a mixture of Low & Medium Turf Stress levels across the UK over the next 7 days.

Applications of our NEW Protect Turf Health Package will also help reduce turf stress. If a fungicide is required, Insignia® or Dualitas are both perfect options given the current growth potential % and weather conditions.
